| Details: | ViMove is world first wireless sensor technology, an easy-to-use system that enables health professionals to objectively measure and analyse low back movement. ViMove assesses movement and muscle activity within a clinic, but can also monitor patients remotely, enabling assessment of movements and postures at work or home. As a treatment tool, ViMove provides visual biofeedback of movement in real-time. ViMove also functions as a portable biofeedback unit that can educate patients about movement in real life situations. The ViMove sensors are small, light and comfortable to wear. The system was designed by Australian physiotherapists. It is user-friendly and time efficient, so can easily be incorporated into a busy clinical practice. Clinical trials have shown ViMove to be a valid and reliable tool for assessment of low back movement. ViMove is currently used in clinics in the UK and Australia.
